The Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Parade is on Saturday 5 March 2016. This iconic Sydney Festival brings together a dazzling array of events spanning sports, theatre and performance, visual arts, talks and forums, a massive picnic in the park, spectacular parties and of course, the world-famous parade.
Over 200,000 people from all over the world will gather around Hyde Park and Oxford Street to join in the biggest celebration of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. The parade is part of a two week program running until Sunday 6 March 2016.
